Writing and Breathing!

Hello Everyone!

Maybe you’ve noticed this, too, but lately I’ve been noticing that after spending a few hours writing, I can hardly catch my breath. I’m beginning to think I get so lost in my writing that I forget to breathe. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not…guess it’s good as long as I can catch my breath again when I’ve finished writing!

I will soon have some special offers to let you know about regarding my book, Gala in the Garden. Stay tuned!!

Hope the force is with all of you as we leave June behind and enter into July!

My Dedication!

I met my grandson for lunch the other day. I’d taken my Kindle along to show him my dedication to him at the beginning of my book, Gala in the Garden. He looked at it, read it, then said, “That’s cool. That’s really cool!” I told him I thought so, too.

It was a dream come true the day I saw Gala in the Garden on my Kindle for the first time, but I will always remember the look on my grandson’s face when he saw his name in my book for the first time.

He goes to college and had brought his grades along to show me. He’s studying computers, but I noticed that one of his best grades was in his writing class. He has a great imagination for stories! You never know!!

A good time was had by both of us!

Welcome to my Blog!

Gala in the Garden

I’d like to introduce you to my book, Gala in the Garden, being released in April 2014.

Kalli Cartwright is a young and talented New York fashion designer who has gotten caught up in the glitz and glamour of the fashion world and loses everything she’s worked so hard for, including her fashion house and lavish apartment. She’s devastated, but determined to get her fashion house back again. She’s also afraid to fall in love until she literally falls into the arms of a perfect stranger.

Gala in the Garden is full of fun, fashion, and romance!
